UPDATE | 02.04.2020

Both children were found safe this evening in Nebraska, after an almost month long search.

Michigan Police and the Department of Health and Human Services are asking for the public’s help to find two missing children from the Battle Creek area.

Seven year old Bentley Dunkelberger and his nine year old sister Karley Dunkelberger are believed to be with their parents, Dennis and Rebecca Dunkelberger.

Police say both parents can become violent when together. Their mother is reportedly schizophrenic.

They were last seen driving a black 2013 Kia Sorento with a Michigan license plate of 4LUZ90.

Police say court orders are not being followed by the parents and they say the children’s safety is a concern.

Karley is described as a white female, 3’10” and 61 lbs with long blonde, curly hair, clothing is unknown and she is diagnosed as Autistic.
