On December 7, 2009, just six days after her birthday twentieth birthday, Lacey Claire Gaines was found stabbed and strangled to death in her apartment.
She was wearing a black bra and blue jeans when her body was found. There were no sign of forced entry, no signs of sexual assault. and surprisingly, no evidence of defensive wounds. She was the mother of a young son. Her murder remains unsolved.
